Cycle tour in Udaipur : : Giving a local passé to the Indian traditional market, on the who’s & how’s of the local goldsmith’s, cobblers, bamboo crafters, vendors, fragrance & colour of traditional Vegetables & spice market etc….a unique tour in itself. The bazaars of Udaipur offer perhaps the most memorable shopping experience, although interestingly target the locals, rather than tourists. A number of bazaars spread outwards from the actual clock tower, on the eastern side of the Gangaur Ghat. Those shopping for either gold or silver jewellery will find that Udaipur’s popular Bara Bazaar is the place to come, also being well known for its extensive selection of fabrics and beautifully worked saris. Further silverware is sold at the Battiyanni Bazaar, while the Mochiwada Bazaar is perfect to those shopping for traditionally made shoes. Village Cycle Safari Jaipur To Samode Bagh : : Early Morning at 7 AM we leave Jaipur towards Village Samode by bicycle. Total kms to be covered is around 55 kms, crossing the beautiful villages of Rajasthan, Visiting countryside routes and fields with fencing of desert berries. The fantasy of the evening increases as the pond-side is brought to life with the glory of the setting sun. On two wheels is a heady mix of everything India has to offer to a traveller majestic forts & palaces, magnificent “Havelis”, village folk performing their arts, full of colour & tradition and culturally rich people traversing through this “royal” state on a bicycle is an exhilarating Experience. Duration- Village Cycle Safari(4-5 Hrs) Places to cover – Jaipur , Amer ,Some small and beautiful villages named as – Kukas, Rishni, Isrwala, Chitwari, Basha and finally they will reach at Samode Palace .Pick up time – Early Morning 7 AM -Meeting Point – Amber Fort -Total Hours –4- 5 Hrs Highlights Jaipur to Samode or to some other near around village covering almost 50-60 kms +. Reach Samode palace at 12:30 PM , one can enjoy Lavish Lunch at Samode palace at their own. Or else can drive back to Jaipur by car. Ever thought of going on one +Lets combine all these:- + wildlife + landscapes + jungle +countryside + cycle expedition+ treasure hunt +a visit to Nahargarh biological park on bicycles in the wilderness At NAHARGARH BIOLOGICAL PARK A place downtown Jaipur (raj) but bustling with all kinds of wildlife – forest, wild animals, numerous kinds of birds, hillocks, ponds, one fortress specifically used for hunting long before this day. Nahargarh Biological Park” is located on the Jaipur-Delhi highway few kms from Amber fort Jaipur, Located along the Aravalli Hills. There are 27 lion’s and Tiger’s which are rescued and now in the rescue centre, all of them were captive and were treated badly. Govt of Rajasthan has taken the initiative and given them a healthier environment. Most of them are very old but the workers are taking good care of them. Nahargarh Biological Park is spread in 7.5sq.km. area and its promoting eco-tourism. Park offers a unique opportunity for visitors to appreciate and enjoy nature in a very thrilling and entertaining manner. Flora, Fauna & Historical Monuments The Area is best representative of three eco-systems i.e. Aravalli Eco-system, Wet land Eco-system, and Desert Eco-system. That means you can enjoy the flora & fauna of all three Eco-system at one place. There are few very old historical monuments also in the park. “ShikarGah” (a place to stay and wait for your pray to hunt) which was used by the Kings in old times. Bhuteshwar Mahadev Temple (Temple of Shiva) is a very old temple and is still in service Ramsisar Sagar – A big water body in the middle of the Jungle. Highlights of Treasure Hunt -The hunt is tons of fun, burns calories and is a great way to spend the day with good friends to explore Elephant village and wilderness at Nahargarh biological park. After a short early morning visit at Elephant Village group will ride to Nahargarh Biological Park where the treasure hunts starts with a briefing of what you should be looking for, different types of clues and all other relevant information. The bicycle treasure hunt activity includes maps, mountain bikes and instructions Cyclists peddle to specified locations, find a clue or solve a challenging riddle, and then ride on to the next destination The participants divide into teams, and are provided with files containing everything necessary in order to complete the hunt: After the event the treasure hunters meet up for prizes and any un-resolved treasure hunt questions can be confirmed. As a guide, around three to four hours allows time for the treasure hunt itself, the briefing beforehand and the meeting together at the end to announce the winners, but this is completely flexible.
